Shipping Clerk – Warehouse Ponchatoula, LA $16.00/hour | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (30-min lunch) Looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join a client facility in Ponchatoula, LA. This is a full-time, consistent Monday-through-Friday role — great for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse setting and takes pride in getting things right. What You'll Do - Pack, label, and document outgoing shipments with accuracy
- Coordinate pickups with carriers and communicate with customer service, vendors, and drivers
- Keep the work area clean and maintain accurate log sheets
- Provide friendly, professional support to vendors and drivers
- Jump in to support other departments as needed
- Take on additional duties as assigned
What You Bring - Prior shipping clerk experience (required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication, computer, and basic math skills
- Sharp attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
- A quick-learning, can-do attitude
