Warehouse/Forklift Operator Needed!
Our office is seeking an experienced forklift driver for a local, well-established company, specializing in construction.
What you'll do:
- Sort and place materials and items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, color or product code.
- Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as required
- Perform a wide range of physical activities that include pulling, pushing, reaching, bending over, climbing, and kneeling
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders in appropriate shipping/holding areas
- Assist in unloading and loading customers
- Assists in performing inventory on materials
- Assist in filling work/shipping orders
- Maintain orderliness at all times through a clean and organized work area
- Assist in other duties as assigned in general support of the organization
Qualifications: - Mininum one year experience in construction and/or manufacturing environment with ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders
- Great organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Able to withstand elements and work in an uncontrolled climate environments
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Position is full time Monday-Friday. Pay rate of $18/hr.
