Fence Installer / Crew Lead

We are seeking an experienced Fence Installer / Crew Lead to join our team in Crowley, LA. This is a hands-on position for someone who has experience with fencing, carpentry, construction, or similar work and is comfortable leading a crew in the field.
The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside a crew installing and repairing various types of fencing
- Measure and lay out fence lines accurately
- Read and use a tape measure
- Operate common hand and power tools
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Safely back a company truck and trailer
- Ensure the crew follows proper work procedures and safety requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and crew members
- Follow all job-site PPE and safety requirements
- Perform physical labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Requirements
- Previous fence installation, carpentry, construction, or related experience
- Previous experience leading or supervising a small crew preferred
- Must be comfortable leading a crew and giving direction
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Proficient with basic hand tools and power tools
- Must be able to safely back a truck and trailer
- Valid driver's license
- Clear/acceptable MVR
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be dependable and have good attendance
- Must be physically capable of performing outdoor, hands-on work
- Must be willing to follow required PPE and safety protocols
Work Environment
This is an outdoor, physically demanding position. The job may involve exposure to heat, cold, rain, dust, mud, and other outdoor conditions. Employees may be required to wear specific PPE depending on the work site and customer requirements.
