Security Officer – Gaming Facility – Breaux Bridge, LA
We're hiring a Security Officer for a gaming facility in Breaux Bridge, LA. This position averages 35–40 hours per week and is ideal for someone who is dependable, professional, and enjoys interacting with the public.
This is a customer-facing position responsible for maintaining a safe, welcoming environment while monitoring access to the facility.
Pay:$12.00/hr (Weekly Pay)
Schedule
This position includes every weekend, with weekdays off.
Typical Schedule
- Monday: Off
- Tuesday: Off
- Wednesday: 5:00pm–10:30pm
- Thursday: Off
- Friday: 4:00pm–11:30pm*
- Saturday: 10:15am–11:30pm*
- Sunday: 10:15am–10:30pm
*Friday and Saturday shifts rotate each week.
- Average 35–40 hours per week
- Hours may fluctuate based on business needs
- Occasional early departures or extended shifts may occur
- Approximately once per month, an 8:00am start time is required for cash drop operations
Job Duties
- Verify identification and monitor access at the facility entrance
- Welcome guests while maintaining a professional security presence
- Observe guest activity and respond appropriately to incidents
- Approach individuals professionally to answer questions or address concerns
- Help de-escalate situations using effective communication and sound judgment
- Complete detailed electronic incident reports using a smartphone or tablet (no paper documentation)
- Work closely with casino management to help maintain a safe environment
