Description:

|
We are seeking an experienced warehouse professional with a strong background in electrical materials, shipping and receiving, and inventory control.
This individual will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure materials are received, inspected, organized, and properly accounted for.
Temp to Hire
Monday - Friday
7:30-4:30
$18-22/hour DOE
Responsibilities: - Receive incoming electrical materials, equipment, and supplies
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy, quantity, damage, and overall condition
- Compare incoming materials against packing slips, purchase orders, and other documentation
- Verify that received materials are properly entered and accounted for in inventory
- Organize and put away incoming materials in their appropriate warehouse locations
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with regular cycle counts and physical inventories
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, damaged materials, or incorrect shipments
- Pull and stage electrical materials for jobs, orders, and deliveries
- Prepare outgoing shipments and verify materials before they leave the warehouse
- Handle shipping and receiving paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate when materials need to be reordered
- Maintain an organized warehouse so materials can be located quickly and efficiently
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed
- Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment as required
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to keep daily warehouse operations running efficiently
- Be proactive in identifying issues, keeping materials organized, and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time

Requirements:
|
|
Qualifications: - Previous electrical warehouse experience required
- Strong knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, and supplies
- Previous shipping and receiving experience
- Experience inspecting and verifying incoming inventory
- Experience with inventory control, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to read and understand packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documentation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Dependable, proactive, and willing to take ownership of daily warehouse operations
- Forklift experience preferred
