The Class A CDL Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials, equipment, or products to designated locations while complying with all federal, state, and company regulations. Drivers perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs and documentation, and provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations and other commercial vehicles requiring a Class A CDL.
• Transport freight, equipment, materials, or products safely and on schedule.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Secure loads in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Maintain driver logs, inspection reports, fuel records, and delivery documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, routes, delays, and delivery status.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively with customers and job sites.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Acceptable driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles, depending on company equipment.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, or overnight travel as needed.
• Tanker, Hazmat, or TWIC credentials may be required depending on the employer.

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb in and out of trucks and trailers.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
